Making Decisions?! What's that all about?

Hi! sorry if it took me a long time before I make another post..hehehe told you I'm not really a blog person...haha:p anywys... Once there was a friend of mine who asked me to judge him as a leader... well then I answered: "In terms of planning.. you are great!, but then your downside is on the decision making..." Then that friend asked me.."then how can i be a better leader?.. any tips on how to make the right decision?" Then I answered... Try to let God make the decision for you, He knows whats best. Like the story of Abraham... as we all know Abraham at his old age along with his wife Sarah was commanded by God: "Leave your country, your people and you father's household and go to the place which I will show you." Then a promise was given to him that Abraham will be the father of many nations.(refer to Gen. 12:1-3). Now if you were in abraham's shoes, wouldn't you feel awkward to just leave your home for no good reason? But then Abraham DECIDED to FOLLOW God's command... And so he went of along with Sarah... round and around and around they go.. where they stop.. only God knows..:D To make the long story short.. Abraham, by faith got to the land on which the Lord God gave him.. Now then, his story doesn't stop there... remember God's promise to him that he would be the father of many nations? well...if he is old and she is barren...then how the heck can they have a son?!?! But then by FAITH, Abraham trusted God that they will have a son.. and true enough, God gave Isaac. Now another part of Abraham's story is about his son... by the time Isaac was a young man.. God talked to Abraham and said: "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about." (Gen. 22:2) ...Wow! that's one BIG favor God is asking from Abraham.. but if you look at Abraham's responce, you can see that not a single word of doubt of question was said to God.. He FULLY OBEYED God's command. And so they went to the mountains.. As Abraham was about to kill Isaac... an angel suddenly stops him from doing so.. And God was utterly pleased by his actions.. and blessed him all the more... and true enough.. Abraham became the father of many nations.
Now then my friends, let me ask you, what is making decisions all about? How do you make the right choices.. should you base it on the statistics and factors around you? Let me tell you, like in the story of Abraham, God may let you do the craziest thing in the whole wide world.. but if you obey HIM and follow HIS will... then... anything is possible. So now ... an update on how my friend is right now?... well... I don't see any changes yet in him but... I'm sure.. in God's time.. He can change him.. and let him have that faithful heart like Abraham... that although his decisions are one of the craziest decisions ever.. but are all in tune with God's will... then I'm sure.. his leadership skills can improve all the more.. and will not have many "palpaks" in his term of being a leader...:D Thank You and Praise The LORD!!

My First Post

Hi Y'all! This is my first time to make a post... or a blog rather...hehehe... :p anyways, for two days I've been thinking of what to post and well.. I got a whole lot of nothing... And for two days I've been wondering.. "why can't I post anything?"..."Why is my mind always blank?"
Then I Realized that the reason I can't share anything in this blog is because I'm not in tune with the Lord... Hehe.. Just like a radio, you can't listen to the music that you want unless you turn to the right station... In the same way, you can't get God's message if you are not one with God... I remember before a pastor told us that a way to get near to Christ is to have a Broken Spirit now what is a Broken Spirit? This is a way of life that you are to be separated from the pleasures of this world and is separated from the world... to have this feeling that you don't need the things in this world because everything will surely come to past... The reason why I used *In Christ Alone!♥* as my title is because I want other people to feel that whenever there are storms and problems and etc. the only person you can turn to is God... I remember a song that says "In Christ Alone, I place my trust, and find my glory in the power of the cross.. In every victory let it be said of me, my source of strenght, my source of hope.. is Christ Alone!" So always have a heart that yearns for Christ.
And so I pray that as I continue on my venture with this online ministry..hehehe :p that God's word will be posted every time... and not mine... Praise Be To GOD!!!!:D
